A very convienient Internet Cafe just a few steps away from the entrance to the Elena Towers Hotel. Although this cafe may seem smaller than many of the others it was great for me when I recently spent ten days in Iligan City. Not having a cell phone or laptop computer with me, the convienience of this cafe made it easy for me to stay in contact with my internet friends locally in Iligan and friends back home in the USA. The staff at this cafe was courteous and polite at all times. This was the first time I had ever used an internet cafe and they were most helpful. I wanted to pay in advance and keep one of the PC's online for a few hours while I had other things to attend to elsewhere and they were more than happy to accomodate my request. This cafe is well within the sight and hearing of the 24 hour security of the entrance to the Elena Tower Hotel which enhanced my experience in a place I had never visited before. Although the keyboards in this cafe were showing their signs of wear, everything functioned properly and the internet speed was adequit for my use. I assume theywere on a DSL Connection. This cafe was clean each time I went there and facilities are available for washing hands. The ambience was quiet and there was no apparant loitering inside or near the entrance.

A nicely situated Hotel right next to MSU-IIT. I booked a " standard " room in this hotel for a week and was very satisfied. The room was well equipped with working hot and cold shower, Cable TV , window air conditioning. Supplies were adequit and replensihed daily with more available for the asking if needed. The staff at this hotel was very helpful, courteous and polite at all times. They were very helpful and concerned with tracking down my luggage that was misplaced in transit by China Air. There is 24 hour security at this hotel and I never felt the least bit insecure in staying here. Just a few steps away from the main entrance I found a convienience store, Internet Cafe, Night club featuring acoustical music with good food menu and popular drinks. A Chow King fast food type restaurant has recently opened in the ground floor of this hotel. A Jollibee franchise is easliy within walking distance as well as other food vending establishments. This hotel is right next to MSU-IIT and is very convienient for visitors to this University of Excellence. A Full service medical facility and hospital is also within easy walking distance. Unfortunately I did not have a chance to experience many of the other features of this Hotel. I would not hesitate in staying here again, in fact I am already planning on it ! There is a parking lot in the rear of the hotel well within view of the 24 hour security.
